Why are we?
In the world of Linux there is very little (although this is
growing) C++ acceptance. Where there are C++ libraries they are
either so specialized as to be unusable in a more generic form,
trying to be so portable that the performance in the native
environment suffers, or not fully analyzed and designed with
extensions in mind.
